Meet Alicia

As a certified professional coach, I guide senior-level professionals through transitions so they recognize and activate their unique style of leadership and bring a greater sense of calm, creativity, and energy to how they lead. I have a genuine passion for helping others identify their greatness and apply those talents to meet their goals for the future. 

My areas of expertise include:

From previous experience of having been the EVP and COO of an Orlando headquartered company, AXIS Data Solutions, and then taking the leap into an entirely new career, I understand “walking the talk”.  Along with 100+ employees, I and the leadership team built the organization to be a nationally ranked Top 500 Hispanic-owned company with clients throughout the United States. I know that the most successful organizations are people-centric; focused on your clients and your employees’ growth and sustaining these long term relationships. I’m a native Floridian and a graduate of the University of Florida. 

Along with coaching, I am a dynamic trainer and workshop facilitator as well as a community advocate. I currently serve on the Board of Directors of IMPOWER FL, a state-wide organization focused on mental health services and child well-being programs. In addition, I serve as the Board Chair of the Victory Cup Initiative, an educational resource for teaching non- profit organizations effective storytelling skills that helps sustain their mission. 

I live in the downtown Orlando area with my husband and rescue dogs, Fern and Hope.

Coaching Approach

The coaching process is a partnership in which we work together focusing on your personal growth, goal setting, and taking action to move you from where you are now to where you want to be. The coaching process is holistic; integrating work and life. We look at the complete “YOU”. Our sessions are a safe zone and a sounding board to clarify new ideas, explore challenges, and, in some cases, test-drive plans before sharing them with others. A healthy coaching relationship is based on trust. You must feel comfortable enough to express yourself in an unguarded and real way each time we meet. Our sessions are confidential. The more open and honest you can be, the more we will achieve. Our times together are infused with positive, constructive energy and humor while working as partners to confront the challenges of the moment!

Our Shared Focus

You decide which goals or issues to work on, not me. The agenda of each session is always yours though the coaching program provides “guideposts” to aid the change process. Most sessions include both “art and science”; incorporating assessment tools, values-based goal setting, and, when appropriate, creative exercises to increase self-awareness and build momentum.

Our coaching objectives are to increase the awareness and understanding of your individual leadership profile (values, strengths, priorities, and challenges) so you make decisions that are good for you. We will explore concepts of values-based decision making, strengths focused development, and conscious leadership to create a mindset that shifts the mental and emotional stress you may feel as a leader and positively influences yourself and those with whom you work and live.
